About Me

Miss Jane

I’m Jane — a woman who rebuilt herself from the ground up and now moves through the world with the quiet certainty of someone who knows exactly who she is. I don’t chase attention; it arrives. I don’t ask for space; I define it. My story is one of transformation, resilience, and sovereign self‑possession.

This is my realm — curated, intentional, and unmistakably mine.

My Story

I’m Jane — a woman who rebuilt herself from the ground up and now moves through the world with the quiet certainty of someone who knows exactly who she is. I don’t chase attention; it arrives. I don’t ask for space; I define it. My story is one of transformation, resilience, and sovereign self‑possession.

I grew up in Castleford, surrounded by character, chaos, and the kind of memories that forge a spine long before you realise it. In October 1999, I moved to Bolton — a decision that looked ordinary to everyone else but became the silent coronation of the woman I was meant to be. It wasn’t just a change of scenery; it was the moment the old version of me stepped aside and the rightful queen stepped forward.

I’ve rebuilt myself more times than most people ever dare to. I’ve broken, healed, and risen with a determination that doesn’t waver. One of the most defining chapters of my life was my weight‑loss journey — over ten stone in nine months. It wasn’t about appearance; it was about reclaiming my power. It was about stepping back into the world as the woman I had forgotten — the woman buried under noise, expectation, and everyone else’s idea of who I should be.

She wasn’t new. She wasn’t timid. She was the original version of me — the one who leads, who decides, who does not wait for permission. When she returned, she didn’t knock. She took her throne.

Today, I stand in my own authority — warm, witty, elegant, and unshakeably grounded. I don’t shrink. I don’t apologise. I don’t dilute myself for anyone. I am Miss Jane, and I move through life with a quiet command that needs no introduction.

The People Who Walk With Me

My journey is mine, but it has been shaped by the people who earned the right to stand beside me. Their photos live here because they are part of my story — not as background characters, but as pillars, allies, and trusted members of my inner court.

My Mum

The heart of my world. The woman whose strength runs through my bones. I began writing my life story for her — a bridge back to each other — and it remains one of the most powerful things I’ve ever created.

My Dad

Steady, grounded, and quietly protective in that way only a father can be. He is the calm behind the scenes, the voice of reason when I’m ready to set the world ablaze, and the man who taught me that true strength doesn’t need to shout.

Tony / Ashley

A spark of joy and mischief in human form — now a light I carry with me rather than beside me. Ashley has passed away, but her presence hasn’t faded; it has settled into my life like a soft, permanent glow. She remains part of my story because she remains part of my heart — not gone, just held differently.

Peter (My Little Puppy)

Steady, loyal, and forever part of my becoming. A friend who has witnessed my transformation and stood beside me with unwavering respect — even when I’m being my most dramatic. Proof that loyalty still exists, and that some people truly can keep pace with me.

Emma — My Virtual Sister

A bond that arrived exactly when it was meant to — effortless, electric, and laced with the kind of sass and honesty only a real connection can survive. She is late‑night laughter, sharp wit, soft understanding, and fierce loyalty. Not just a friend, but a mirror, a confidante, and a sister in every way that matters.

These people are not just faces in a gallery. They are the ones who stood close enough to see the real me — and strong enough to stay.

My Creative Life

I wasn’t always a storyteller — that part of me revealed itself quietly, like a truth waiting for the right moment. It began when I started writing my life story for my mum. What began as a few memories became over sixty pages of honesty, reflection, and rediscovery. Writing became a way to reclaim my narrative — to speak in my own voice, not the one the world tried to hand me.

Photography followed — capturing my evolution, my confidence, and the elegance I now carry with pride. I love the drama of a single image, the mystery, the softness, the strength. And I’ve found joy in crafting messages full of warmth, wit, and unapologetic glamour for the people I care about.

This website is the next chapter — a curated home for my words, my photos, and my voice. Not because I’ve always been a storyteller, but because I finally recognised that I am one — and I’m not afraid to be heard.
